1. Marketing Department
EurasAm Marketing Department is an administrative body which services the marketing needs of the organization and does not render services to members, observers or partners of EurasAm. The Marketing Department is responsible for generating the strategy for promotion, communication, and relationship development of the organization.
Duties of an intern: assist Marketing Department in strategy for promotion of the EurasAm, research, publications, compilation of the Chamber’s database, and other activities to promote and enhance the brand of the organization. A preferred length of internship is three months. A preferred length of time during a week is, at least, 20 hours a week.
Qualification of an intern:
- Pursuing BA or MA in marketing, international business, and other related field
- Up to one year of experience in brand promotion and marketing
- Interest in brand promotion, marketing, PR, and international business
- Fluency in English and, preferably, in Russian
2. HR Department
Human Resources Department is an administrative body which services the HR needs of the organization and does not render services to members, observers or partners of EurasAm. The HR Department is responsible for the attraction, selection, training, assessment, and rewarding of employees, while also overseeing organizational leadership and culture, and ensuring compliance with employment standards.
Duties of an intern: assist HR Department in attracting, selecting, training, assessing, and rewarding employees of the organization. A preferred length of an internship is, at least, 3 months. A preferred length of time for an internship during a week is, at least, 20 hours a week.
Qualification of an intern:
- Pursuing BA or MA in psychology, humanities, statistics or any other related field
- Up to one year of experience in HR
- Interest in working in HR field long-term
- Fluency in English and Russian
- Very strong communication skills
3. Event Coordination Department
EurasAm Event Coordination Department is an administrative body which services event coordinating needs of the organization and although the department may coordinate actions with EurasAm partners on various projects, the department personnel do not engage in a contractual relationship nor render services to members, observers or partners of EurasAm. The Event Coordination Department is responsible for organizing and coordinating EurasAm events.
Duties of an intern: assist Event Coordination Department in event planning. A preferred length of time for an internship during a week is, at least, 20 hours a week.
Qualification of an intern:
- Pursuing BA or MA in business, marketing, or any other relevant field
- Creative, social, and very active
- Fluency in English and, preferably, Russian
- Experience in event planning for 1-2 years is a plus
4. IT Department
EurasAm IT Department is an administrative body which services the IT needs of the organization and does not render services to members, observers or partners of EurasAm. The IT Department is responsible for developing tools to help execute EurasAm strategy: business process automation, information gathering, communication, productivity tools, applications, computer networks and information databases.
Duties of an intern: assist EurasAm IT department in IT-related questions, website optimization and promotion, database use, technology maintenance of EurasAm interaction tools.
Qualification of an intern:
- Pursuing BS or MA in IT-related field
- Fluency in English and, preferably, Russian
- Experience in IT is a plus
- Knowledge of a graphic design is a plus
5. Member Services Department
EurasAm Member Services is an administrative body which services the members of the organization by providing amenities which correspond to the appropriate member status. The department personnel do not engage in a contractual relationship nor render services to members, observers or partners of EurasAm. The Department of Member Services is responsible for maintaining regular communication with the organization’s members, tending to their needs and concerns and briefing the Executive Secretary as far as to member activities.
Duties of an intern: communicate with perspective and current members of the EurasAm; engage in and assist the Chamber’s committees in communication with other departments of the Chamber; facilitate member services to current members and observers.
Qualification of an intern:
- Pursuing a BA or MA in humanities, psychology, economics, or any related major
- Fluency in English and Russian is a must
- Very social and communicative
- Previous experience in sales is highly desired
6. Accounting Department
EurasAm Accounting Department is an administrative body which services the accounting needs of the organization and does not render services to members, observers or partners of EurasAm. The Accounting Department is responsible for recording, classifying, and summarizing in terms of money, transactions and events which are, of financial character, and interpreting the results thereof.
Duties of an intern: assist in accounting matters in collaboration with the EurasAm accountant.
Qualification of an intern:
- Pursuing an accounting major
- Preparing or planning to take the CPA exam
- Fluency in English and, preferably, in Russian
- Detail-oriented
- Previous experience working in accounting, especially for a non-profit, is highly desirable
7. Legal Department
EurasAm Legal Department is an administrative body which services the legal needs of the organization and does not render services to members, observers or partners of EurasAm. The Legal Department is responsible for drafting contracts and other legal documents for the organization; reviewing local and state legislation, and providing legal advice to EurasAm personnel on a wide variety of issues.
Duties of an intern: assist in legal matters in collaboration with the EurasAm lawyer.
Qualification of an intern:
- Pursuing a law degree, preferably, corporate law in Law School
- Preparing or planning to take the Bar exam
- Previous experience working in a legal department is highly desirable
- Fluency in English and, preferably, Russian
- Knowledge of the Russian corporate law is highly desirable
